Feeling puny and strangely disconnected in the wake of the tsunami.  Here in Shikoku we were spared and felt nothing; odd how something so massive could go undetected.  I'm awed by Nature's quiet power, its effortless ability to shift massive structures as if they were soggy Cheerios.  I am grateful too; for our safety and to be so loved.
