In Niihama it's been business as usual since the earthquake and tsunami.  Even with the latest worries about the state of the nuclear reactors, I think in general you'd be hard pressed to see any signs of it.  Instead there's a calm face of conviction of an eventual resolution.   Until then 'it's off to work we go.'

small triumphs

It's been tough to shake weight of sadness that comes with continual news coverage and huge bouts of uncertainty.  My home-remedy includes noticing the tiniest victories.
Candy brings joy 

when mom says 'yes.'
