This weekend project is thanks to the plethora of how-to videos on Youtube, a reassuring brother, and a closeted inner mechanic.
Break the lug nuts loose by bouncing all of your 100 pounds on a tire wrench. Remove a bolt to lift up the caliper to reveal the old pads.
Pop 'em out.
Give the piston a good squeeze to make room for the new pads.
Y voila! New shoes.
p.s.- Other Youtube videos of interest: gluing a hair weave, harvesting compost worms, crazy mad guitar skills.
Does the bungee cord come with the new brake pads?
ReplyDeletebravo big sis! u should try zip ties along your brake line to improve pedal feel :D
